This was the very first song we recorded for the album, I think this song is why we even decided to do the album. This was one of those songs that wrote itself, my emotion at the time connected to the beat almost spiritually. This song is about continuing to do YOUR thing, no matter what is going on around you. Oh and I mos def was thinking about LL Cools chorus when I wrote this hook, it just kept popping in my head!
